Archived Call for 2023-24:

For the 2023-24 cohort, we are seeking 10 Postsecondary Career and Technical Education Research Fellows who are proposing postdoctoral research, entering the dissertation stage research, or in a doctoral program, who want to conduct research on current issues related to the field of postsecondary CTE.

Preference will be given to research proposals that address postsecondary CTE in terms of improving student success or using CTE to address larger problems such as economic mobility. Our view of student success uses the pillars of learning, transfer, completion, equity, and labor market outcomes. Projects can address one or more of these areas. Projects in other areas of postsecondary CTE are encouraged.

We welcome applicants from a variety of postsecondary institutions and academic disciplines, such as education, economics, sociology and business.  Please see the 2023 ECMC Foundation Research Fellow Application Guide and FAQ page that details the application process and expectations of Fellows. The application deadline is April 1st, 2023. The 2023-24 cohort will kick off with a virtual research training institute in August 2023. The fellowship year will run from August 2023 to July 2024.
